GOLD PLATING
Gold is a highly conductive precious metal with excellent solder-ability and good corrosion. Its high resistance to tarnish makes it supremely suitable for the electronics industry. MAF Corp. is NADCAP approved for chemical processing by PRI International.
SILVER PLATING
Silver plating offers excellent conductivity and solder-ability along with high lubricity which helps in friction reduction and or wear by a lubricant. MAF provides precision barrel and rack silver plating services that are QQ-S-365, ASTM B700, and AMS 2412 certified.
COPPER PLATING
Copper plating is an excellent metal finishing choice for applications such as brazing or high temp lubricant due to its high ductility. Commonly used as an undercoat., copper plating is versatile and offers many benefits.
ELECTROLESS NICKEL PLATING
Electroless nickel is used extensively in the salvage of worn or mis-machined parts. It is also widely used for inside dimensions and irregular shapes where assembly tolerances need uniformity.
ELECTROLYTIC NICKEL PLATING
Electrolytic nickel plating is typically used to improve a part's wear, abrasion, and corrosion resistance. Also referred to as Electroplating, a process that uses electricity and an electrolyte solution to deposit metal ions on a substrate.
SULFAMATE NICKEL PLATING
MAF’s sulfamate nickel plating services make an excellent choice for flexing or crimping applications as well as joining applications such as welding, soldering, brazing and epoxy bonding. Sulfamate nickel excels where a highly ductile, low stress nickel deposit is needed or preferred.
